Great fridge! we use this as a 12 volt unit off solar array in the van. It it so nice to have. I started with the 65 QT and now bought the 85 QT I like the little higher model with the same footprint. I did call customer service on the 65 QT unit and they were so nice when talking us through some loose wires. Highly recommend this brand
Great fridge, junk cable, happy camper! keeps beer cooollllddd, much quieter operation on battery power than 110, but still manageable. I sleep with it about a foot away and doesn’t bother me. Used it in Baja for 3 weeks, it would run for 3-4 days at a time off of 2 6v 220ah batteries in series, without a charge from the alternator. I have a 10 yr old 60w solar panel and it kept batteries up. Also used water pump and lights during this time but most are LED. Basically very economical on power.The size is good for 2…
This is one awesome camp fridge. Took it to Burning Man this year. We used it as a refrigerator and set the temperature for 35 F.It not only maintained that temp throughout the event, even when the temps hit the upper 90’s (we had the fridge in shade), it lasted all 10 days of the event on 2 85 amp-hour deep cell batteries with some charge to spare.It kept the food cold and was well sealed so that food stayed pristine even after a major dust storm, for the whole time.
