I bought this and gave it as a gift for … I bought this and gave it as a gift for Christmas. 2-1-15, I received a call and a picture that the blanket caught on fire. DON’T buy
Soft but seems a bit stiff Decent blanket that seems to work well. I actually bought this to put in my small dogs car bed to keep her warm in the winter months. The “problem” I have with this blanket is it feels like a piece of cardboard with fabric over it. I get it that there are electrical wires inside but it just feels a bit stiff. One thing to keep in mind is there is no settings or on/off button. Just plug it in and it works. I think it shuts off after a period of time as well but haven’t used it long enough to be sure.
Fire starter blanket Hardly had a chance to use before it tried to start itself on fire. Driving along in the car and it started melting itself. Smelled so bad we stuck it outside the window to rid ourselves of the burnt plastic smell. It could have started a car fire.
