Works great – GE Oven Let me shed some light on this, get it? Haha. It’s been more than a month and these bulbs are holding up! I used them on my GE oven and so far, so good.The installation was a bit tricky but that was because of my oven, not because of these bulbs. In case you’re in the same situation, this may help you.I couldn’t get the glass cover off inside the oven to change the bulb. The glass cover might have been stuck because of grease, etc. I researched a bit and found a simple…
Had to do something different….locally purchased bulbs simply do not last…so sad… Needless to say the original bulbs in our GE double oven lasted close to 13-years. Then the top oven which we use the most went out we went to our local store for a replacement….should have been simple….but… the first replacement lasted 1-week with the oven used once. Took it back and got another one as a replacement and that one lasted close to 2-months. Third was as about as good as the second. Went back again for a fourth replacement and that one has now lasted just over a year before…
well made, brass base, built for HI TEMP These bulbs are truly built for high temperature operation of ovens. I have tried several others and they all burned out in a very short time – and worse yet they all had aluminum bases, which are a disaster to remove when they burn out. These brass based bulbs should last some time. However, I have learned that NO bulb can survive the self-clean cycle, so don’t forget to remove them when doing that.
