Over the road truck driver’s dream! I was very skeptical at first. I was using coolers and ice or thermo electric coolers. Neither of which is practical. So I looked at Engel Coolers but they are very expensive usually around $1000. So I took a chance and ordered the Whynter. So far am very pleased! I drive a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia with a Thermo King Tripak APU. Also tractor has a 1800 watt inverter. So I always use 110volt cord.The cooler is very heavy so I leave it in truck but run APU to keep it powered. Also I own my…

From carrying 20lbs of ice to my boat daily for the last year to just finished eating ice cream after sailing all day. Words cant describe this luxury. 100W solar into my 180 amphr 12vdc AGM. Dropped to -08 from 90 in 1 &1/2 hr.

Bad product, bad customer support. This stopped cooling in less that 10 months. I tried resetting, cleaning, and even running it on AC. Contacted customer support a week ago and have not heard a word. Now I am left with a cooler that has a digital thermometer that tells me when to switch out the ice jug from my freezer to maintain a decently low temp. Bad product, bad customer support.
