Good value, only time will tell longevity The temp increased 10 degrees with the blanket inside a sleeping bag in 15 minutes. I used an ir temp gauge and a timer to determine this. Item description says 120 watts divided by 12 volts equal 10 amp max draw. The two blankets we received each have a 10 amp automotive glass fuses in the torpedo plug, so that would tell me it draws less then 10 amps while heating elements are on. Warms up quickly I love these. I often take my grandchildren to school. In the mornings it can be chilly.
