This absorption refrigerator works great. I have only tred it on 12 volt … This absorption refrigerator works great. I have only tred it on 12 volt and 120 volt. It pull right at 150 watts and holds a just above freezing in the refrigerator zone and freezes in the freezer zone. The configuration is different from the pictures with the controls on top. I think that is more convenient place.
The XC40 model comes half build… Length:: 1:20 Mins Iâve purshased the model XC40 about four months ago and the main highlight would be that this fridge model it comes half built only. Maybe it is to reduce cost and be able to sell it as a 3 way fridge less expensive than the other brands.In terms of working at 120VAC I canât say nothing but good things. Great small propane refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how well this refrigerator works. I used it while camping for a week in hot weather. It used a very small amount of propane to keep all my food cold for the whole week. The gauge on the tank did not move enough to notice. Very impressed. I built a box around the refrigerator to keep the wind from blowing out the gas and put a small vent stack to channel the exhaust away. The box also kept the sun from heating the refrigerator.
