Worked right away – got first ever cubes in 16 minutes.second batch in under 8 minutes UPDATE: I am raising my rating from 4 to 5 stars after a few days with this.One aspect of the design that had implications that were not obvious at first is the fact that the water reservoir catches water as the ice in the basket melts. This turns out to be important.It means you can fill the reservoir with water (about 2 liters) and just leave it running.After the basket fills up, it shuts off. Solid product I purchased this because it was the best combination of high reviews and lowest price.It works great and easily. The ice pellets are hollow which we love and also the ice is not rock hard so it’s easy to chew.The instruction manual also provided some good laughs at the obvious language barrier in translating from Chinese to English.Overall, very pleased.
Nice looking, fast and quiet ice maker Well, delivery was amazingly quick. This was great as we will bring it along in the RV this weekend.This ice maker is wonderful; just as advertised!
