Bright blue light – small buttons Based on other reviews, I had hoped that they had done something about the bright blue light that comes out of the very bottom that turns the entire switch on and off. Regardless, we had never been very sensitive to digital lights from the electronics so I thought it would be fine. Nice unit just get someone to install it for you. Pros: Not too many words on this. It does what it says and does it right. Installs fine. i can go on about design but you see the picture. Great wall control for Minka Aire fans. Works great with compatible Minka Aire fans. Have not tried it with other fan brands. This unit is pretty easy to install, but I would warn you to make sure that you have plenty of room and a deep box to mount it in.This switch operates like the hand-held, battery-operated remotes that came with the Minka Aire fans, but uses the hot wire instead of a battery to power the transmitter.
