I use this all the time at my hunting cabin. Its great and works in no power situations quit well. I use this all the time at my hunting cabin. Its great and works in no power situations quit well. However i have to run it at medium heat and turn it down to low after the coffee brews or a little check valve in the water fill area pops out of place. This little plastic check valve can be pushed back in place after the unit cools off.
The talk of the campsite This has very quickly become my favorite piece of camping gear. I’m one of those people that can’t function til I’ve had my morning coffee, and camping coffee has never been easier. Took this on a camping trip with a group of friends last weekend and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it, and no one bothered getting out their percolators or presses. Even campers from other sites were coming over to check this thing out when they saw it! Another wonderful product from Coleman!
Works great! 1st pot takes about 20 minutes to brew Works great! 1st pot takes about 20 minutes to brew, 2nd under 15 minutes. The reservoir doesn’t hold a full pot of water, though, so I just add an additional cup to it once it starts for brew.
