Get REALLY Cold Came on time. When I received it, I plug it in to see that it worked. This cooler was plugged in 20 min. & it got real cold. Very happy with this cooler. My last cooler like this (different brand) worked for @ least 15 years b4 it died so, I hope the Wagan gets that many years of use out of it. I’m kind of lost without my 12V cooler. Not Really Recommended I really can’t recommend this item.Though it is of quality construction with fairly thick walls and top containing insulation, the thermo-electric cooler is undersized. It is also quite loud, both in the vehicle and in the hotel room at night.You CANNOT leave it running in your vehicle overnight as it will run down the battery. Worked for a road trip I used the Wagan 46 quart cooler on a 4 day road trip. It held all meals for those 4 days for 2 people. It was plugged in most of the time. I had a fridge thermometer in it at all times. It did dip below the safe zone a few times from opening at meal times, but it cooled off again quickly enough that I wasn’t concerned. For the rest of the time, it stayed perfectly in refrigeration target temperatures. I chilled some drinks from room temperature overnight, and the next evening they were cold. I…
