Good for chilling drinks Depending on what you need this for, this is a great product that sorta does what it says – though it must be noted that it’s really more of an electronic cooler rather than a real mini-fridge. Good assisted cooler I picked one of these up about a week ago and so far really like it. As mentioned here, the system only cools about 25 F below ambient, and as you can see in my pictures that’s about 40F without assistance. Do not buy; itâs defective and a fire hazard! I purchased this electric cooler about 12 months ago, and just last week I noticed a hot smell when it was plugged in and running.
