Light dirt or stains can be cleaned with water or mild detergent. Tougher stains may be cleaned with diluted solution of baking soda and water. Ensure all cleaning agents are thoroughly rinsed and the cooler is dry before storage.

Not a car camping solution It works, but so many minuses, I certainly regret buying it. Not terribly cold. Takes a while to cool down. Drains my camper van house battery in just a few hours. I would say this is only a solution while you are actively driving. Even if you drive all day, if you stop to spend the night, I don’t see how you can leave this plugged in and not wake up to a near-dead battery. There’s no real insulation in the walls and so when you unplug it, being not all that cold to begin with, in the morning…

Fabulous Cooler! We initially bought this unit because we travel state to state back and forth between two homes. As the trip takes 10-11 hours and we sometimes spend the night on the way back, an ice chest was too messy and we lost a lot a food in the process. This fills the bill perfectly!We use it extensively now for traveling and at home as well. Buy the AC adapter and you’ll have an extra “overflow” refrigerator.
