Takes the chill off! I bought this blanket because my husband works third shift and during his lunch break he goes and rest in his car. It can get cold here in Ohio at night during fall and winter! He says it is perfect for him. Just enough heat to take chill off for him to be comfortable. I would prefer a little warmer on the highest setting but it was still nice and the fabric is soft! I had already sent back another brand of heated blanket to amazon because it didnât work on arrival. So I am very glad this one…
works great. takes a bit to warm up. We also bought the AC adapter for it so we can use it inside the house. No fires, no explosions, no near death experiences. No one spontaneously combusted which we could have blamed on the blanket. works like it should.
Great quality, great comfort, well built They say not to fold it for heat concerns, but on a night in 20s, no problem, never too hot. I use it on drivers seat back to provide warmth. It works great. At only 3.8 A or 45 W, we can run two of them without pushing it on power from a single 12v outlet. I selected this Elantrip unit because it was washable, but I have not yet washed this blanket, so I cannot comment on whether that causes any problems. It should be OK according to the documentation.
