After one and half years of use… I am writing this review after using the Whynter FM-65 Freezer for 1 1/2 years. I used the freezer every day and I love this thing. Then I had a problem with cooling. I called refrigerator repairmen but no one would handle it. Then I called Whynter in Brea, CA and talked to Amber R. She was awesome and answered all my questions. I took it to them, and two days later Amber R. told me I could pick it up or they could ship it to me. Whynter stands behind their products and they have great service.

Great addition of semi-perm install in a RV application Using this in an RV almost exclusively off solar since May of 2017 (4 months) with a few minor issues. Switching between DC and AC does happen automagically however I have noticed two times I was on shore power (AC) the temp did not seem to remain steady. After removing AC power and reapplying the problem seemed to resolve. This may not be a fault of the fridge but could be an artifact of the shore power.
