Not as advertised so I shipped mine back I bought this to use while I Uber. I sleep in my car while I’m working out of town and need something to help me stay warm at night. It DOES work but it leaves a lot to be desired during real world use so I returned it.Cons: it doesn’t heart up or stay warm unless your 12v has power, meaning you have to have your car running (burning through gas) or risk killing your battery if you fall asleep. POOR quality & construction Product is advertised to measure 48 x 58 – my blanket is 39×55. VERY poorly stitched, with loose fabric feeling more like a pillow case, than blanket. CHEAP fabric quality, pilled & stretched as I was opening the package, clearly will not hold up long. We purchased this to use in our teardrop trailer for the times we are not hooked up to power & can run off our inverter. This might be ok as an emergency blanket in your car, but I would not recommend it as a product you would want to use…
Fire hazard? About 5 minutes after plugging this in, the plug gave a strong burning smell. Nasty. Will just keep as an extra truck blanket, I refuse to plug this back in.
