the packing wasn’t the greatest so the glass fuse broke Just received my mini rice cooker and tried it for the first time. I followed the instructions and plugged it into the cigarette lighter of the truck. The directions said for 4 cups it should take about 38 minutes, it took longer, closer to an hour, but that’s trivial. It did switch from red light (cooking) to green light (keeping warm). I’m a skeptic…but it worked; the picture proves it and the rice is fluffy. This now goes into the travel trailer for use on the go…

I do not recommend buying. Im a truck driver and i use this product on the road. It worked great for about a month. With each use i noticed the power cord got very hot. Not just warm but very very hot. I didnt think too much of it a few weeks back the fuse in the power cord burned out so i replaced with the new fuse provided with the purchased and about 2 days ago the cord got so hot that i thought it was gonna catch on fire and it started to to emit a powerful smell as if it was burning. Exceed our expectation We got the unit for our van on road trips. The first time we used it was a bit confusing since we lost the instruction booklet and only Chinese was written on the unit. After a few tried we figured out that the green means the rice is cooked and the red means it is not ready. The hard part was we did not know what light need to be on when we first turn it on.
