Clean, quiet, portable POWER Great product and price. I bought the 4000 Watt model to have some AC power during grid blackouts, which I just experienced a 16 hour electrical blackout last month. Here is what I did; I bought the largest capacity Marine/Deep Cycle battery I could find, I placed the battery into a sealed battery box, I hooked up the Inverter to the battery, I hooked up a “float charger” on the battery, I then placed the Inverter on top of the sealed and covered battery box and placed that on a…
Great inverter working for 1.5 years so far no problems I’ve had this inverter in my school bus conversion since march 2016. It gets used about every weekend, nothing too heavy, a refrigerator, a couple laptops, some cell phones and other misc chargables, a fan, etc. I’ve been very happy with it, it has caused me no troubles but for two minor nits. One is that the fans are very loud, and they are very aggressive. It will be 70F on a cool day and drawing less than 200w through it the fans will kick on and run for a long time. Kind of surprising…
Auto-shut off. Bad unit. OEM refuse to take back. Bad customer service. Do not buy this product. After putting this thing in my bus, wiring and all, I had to yank it out to replace it with another product. The labor and time of it is just not worth the risk. So, the problem is that it auto shuts off. I called the manufacture and went through many troubleshooting processes, including setting battery in palallel mode / terminal relocation, disconnecting remote, checking the battery bank charge (which I had two new 100ah batteries), yet it still shuts off…
