Works great but… I live in eastern Colorado where our weather is typically dry and not very humid. This air cooler works great! I have it set up in my bedroom and have the window cracked. It definitely does the job. The fan is very strong and moves air very well! The water tank is easy to fill and Iâve only had to run it on low so far…but…even on low and fan only, itâs very loud. I sleep with my tv on and donât like the quiet so itâs not an issue for me but if you need quiet to sleep, this wonât be good for…
So glad I bought this! I was nervous to purchase this because of all of the negative reviews. I rent and cannot install a portable a/c unit in the window so I dediced to give this a try. I am glad I did. I can finally sleep peacefully and comfortably. I have no regrets about buying this at all. My bedroom gets to be 80 degrees in the morning and is stuffy and hot. Love and hate with this machine… Works great, and other times doesnt work. Since I live in a random humidity place… sucks! But it works. Needs to be placed properly by open window and block off any open useless areas in window or doorway(which I though tit helped much better), so it has direct flow, or open door way with screen door, seems to help as well.One good idea, I freeze a cup of water in a plastic cup, and toss out ice into tummy when I snap off the locks, just be careful not to tip over, helps.
