Works for my needs, but beware eyelet rings are small gauge. I got this to power a radio amplifier (BTech AMP-220) off the back of my 30A power supply. I’m using banana connectors already for another radio, so needed to use rings. (Unscrew the posts, slide these on, put posts back.). The BTech radio amplifier uses a cigarette lighter for power and I didn’t want to cut it off and modify it (voiding warranty), so figured this cable would be an easy solution. The amp draws up to 7A peak so needed to use the rear terminals versus the front power poles or…

Be careful. This product worked well at first. It failed in the end.I take some measure of responsibility for the failure.I was going to move the battery the cord was connected to so coiled up the cable. The “insulated” wire touched the top of the battery. I moved it to a chair and the cable caught on fire. I suspect the insulation material is very thin or not as insulating as it should be.I might use this product again but would be very cautious of what the insulated…

Eyelets won’t fit on RV battery terminals I hoped to just attach this cable to the deep cycle battery in my RV, and use the cigarette plug to power a portable air pump for pumping up the tires. However, the ring connectors on the cable are not even close to big enough to fit on the battery terminals. I don’t know if there are batteries with smaller terminals, but it seems this product can not be directly connected to a typical car or RV battery. Instead, I cut off the leads below the inline fuse and wired the cable in to the RV’s 12VDC…
