Great idea but needs a lot of refinements. I was really excited about the possibility of having an off grid coffee maker to take camping in our tent trailer. We received it in time to take camping for 4 days on Memorial Day weekend. It worked great and made 5 pots of coffee. The first thing I discovered was the stainless steel carafe can hold more water than the reservoir so in order to make a full pot of coffee you need to wait until the part way in the brew cycle and add about 8 ounces more water to get a full pot. I will be seconding a lot of what you heard but backing it up with actual facts and measurements as well as photos.First off let me say in the woods when you have had poor sleep and/or you want your morning coffee something like this is a godsend! Keep in mind folks, you can have instant, go to the store or have NONE… or you can have this.Compared to the Coleman version that you put on your own burner (Model No.2000015167) this is slower but its a metal carafe instead…
