Great idea but needs a lot of refinements. I was really excited about the possibility of having an off grid coffee maker to take camping in our tent trailer. We received it in time to take camping for 4 days on Memorial Day weekend. It worked great and made 5 pots of coffee. The first thing I discovered was the stainless steel carafe can hold more water than the reservoir so in order to make a full pot of coffee you need to wait until the part way in the brew cycle and add about 8 ounces more water to get a full pot.
