This 52 quart unit features 2 removable ducts. This setup is ideal for placement in the baggage compartment of the airplane. The ducts are designed to be tall enough to get air over the back seats of the airplane. The ducts are fully flexible and easy to remove. This unit features our ballistic nylon outer covering with a hard plastic inner shell for durability. A new louver vent is available that will give you the flexibility to use the air diffuser of your choice. This unit includes a pump out feature that allows you to pump excess water out of the unit with a 6′ drain hose by using the unit’s built in pump. The unit includes power cord and pump out drain hose. This unit will cool for 2 hours 30 minutes on high cool and up to 5 hours on low cool. The 12 volt model pulls 10 amps.

poor return representation I am a school bus driver,it gets very hot driving the bus. I was looking for something to help cool the drivers area. I did a search on ice air conditioners. This took me to the arctic air cooler from sportys.com. This item looked like it might work.I consider this a very high price (over $600)but with their easy return policy if it works it would be worth my hard earned cash.I tried it out for several days and decided it just wouldnt do the job for me. Arctic Air works great for your airplane or car. I bought an Arctic Air portable air conditioner for my plane 3 years ago. It has worked perfectly. I live in Florida and the plane cockpit can get near 100 degrees when out on the ramp in the sun. It can be unbearable in the cockpit before take off. Additionally, I take my wife and her dog flying with me and it is just too hot some days, even with the door open and engine running. With the Arctic Air I fill it with block ice and turn it on while the plane is still in the hangar. It cools…
