A little power house! I’ve had this (400 watt model) a week now and have only done a couple of function tests; so far so good. I use it to power a 32 inch LED TV, a 200 watt soundbar and a Blu-ray/ DVD player in my travel trailer. It will run them all at the same time with no problem (such as electrical interference with the TV picture or sound). POS.. Failed after 4 uses POS. Used 4 times and the fan failed, causing it to overheat and shut down. Bought a 400 Watt Everstart Inverter from Walmart for $8 less and it is still going. Cannot recommend the Ampeak Inverter.
3.1 Amps on USB power outlets. Non rapid charge cables will get really hot. Use your device adapter and plug-in on AC outlet Used on a family vacation trip and loved it. With two usb connections and two AC outlets, we had enough outlets for all our phones and gps. They were also able to plugin the laptop as they watch DVD movies. The cooling fan is a little loud when using the AC outlets but it’s to be expected for it to function properly and not overheat.
