Works great, just make sure to follow instructions. Most excellent water heater for tea. All the hotels have those k-cup makers now, and I can’t heat up water to make a cup of tea. This heats the water in a ceramic mug almost as fast as I can get my tea box out of my luggage. Just follow the instructions to only plug/unplug it WHILE IT IS IMMERSED and you can’t miss. Heats very quick! Love! This little guy heats up cold water to a boil in a flash! However, beware that the clip that holds it on a mug is sharp! I got quite a deep cut from it. I will have the hubby sand the sharp edge. Love it, cut it no cut!
