Works with all 12 volt style accessory plugs. This listing is for heavy duty socket which has a heavy nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated core and brass terminals with ceramic insulator. A vinyl opening cap inserts into the core and covers the socket rim to produce a waterproof seal. Also included is a rubber mounting washer that makes the assembly more vibration resistant and waterproof. The socket works with all standard accessory plugs. The internal socket core is smooth for accessory plug, will not work with lighter plugs or for hot lighter use. The terminals are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. The socket mounts into a 1-1/8″ hole. It is rated a 25 amps at 12 volts. Socket length from flange to the end of the terminals is 2.0″. Patent Pending by 12vtechnology.

Heavy Duty 12 Volt Socket Works Great I bought this 25 amp socket so I could use it to make coffee with a 12 volt coffee pot in my small RV. The socket works great since the coffee pot is only rated at 15 amps. I wired this 25 amp socket directly to the battery with 10 gage stranded copper wire and an inline fuse. The round trip distance for the wire is about thirteen feet. I calculated voltage loss based based on the amps used, the gage of the wire, and the length of the wire. This 25 amp socket is what I needed – heavy duty.
